Microsoft launching a Surface Pro 4 this Fall
The newly-released Windows 10 operating system will for a limited time be available as a free upgrade for customers now running Windows 8.1 on their Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 devices.

There will be improvements in some aspects over its predecessor, the ground-breaking Surface Pro 3, reports say.
“Following the recent market rumor that Microsoft has placed a large order for Samsung Electronics’ 256GB solid state drive (SSD) to be used for its new Surface tablet, the related upstream supply chain reportedly has recently been notified to start mass shipments of components in September with the tablet estimated to become available in the market in October”.
The site also mentioned that the weight of Surface Pro 4 will still be the same with Surface Pro 3 but is expected to look thinner. Both are Windows-based tablets from Microsoft and both came with Windows 8.1 pre-installed.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date will also introduce the new Microsoft Lumia flagships of the year with the mobile version of Windows 10 on board.
All three models on sale come with 8GB of memory, whereas the other two Surface Pro models offer 4GB of RAM. If the iPad Pro actually runs iOS X like some have predicted, it will definitely be a competitor to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Let’s hope the Surface Pro 4 can be just as revolutionary.
It has been rumored that the Pro 4, at 12 inches, may be the biggest tablet Microsoft has ever released. The gadget operates at quick speeds and above all offers a battery life of approximately 5-7 hours, which is quite decent when compared to other members of this group. The screen size of the miniature tablet remained undisclosed. Apple’s upcoming tablet is also expected to have a stylus that operates similar to the one for the Surface Pro 3.
The device is touted to be the most powerful in its lineup, all because under its hood will be a Skylake processor, the newest breed of Intel’s chipsets expected to be released this fall. Internal storage will range from 64 GB to 256 GB, as per usual.
