Microsoft Lumia 950 prototype images surface

After months of being leaked and speculated about, the long awaited Windows Phone flagship for Windows 10 – referred to as the Lumia 950 – has finally made a live appearance.

Of these, only Lumia 640 and Lumia 535 are now available in Microsoft’s UK stores.

Windows 10 was initially launched on July 29, promising users could “Do great things” with its familiar and easy to use feel while featuring synced data across all devices and a smarter virtual assistant.

If you thought that your Windows phone didn’t feature in this list, don’t worry. These will bring in existing phones like Lumia 735 and Lumia 520 which are still selling in the UK.

According to ZDNet, the devices listed are just those included in the first wave of updates, and older handsets could still receive the update at a later date. In addition, it has an Action Center where daily tasks can be quickly done as well as a new browser called Microsoft Edge for a distraction-free reading experience. Using this, you will be able to view, respond to or dismiss notifications either on your phone, tablet or your PC.

Windows has now released its latest OS in Windows 10.

The company has maintained a tight secrecy over the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, but the phones will be coming out soon despite all odds. While a Lumia phone with 512MB RAM and a screen resolution of 800×480 pixels can make the cut, Windows 10 will support devices with as high as 3GB RAM and 2560×2048 resolution.
