Both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL support fast charging, which can reach more than 50 percent charge in just 30 minutes, and will be available at a best buy price of INR 43,699 ($654) and INR 49,399 ($743) respectively.
After an nearly two-year gap, we are finally seeing Windows based flagship handsets. With the new Lumia smartphones, we’ve got security covered with features like Windows Hello which unlocks a phone using an “iris scan” and is totally secure.
The devices include innovative features such as Cortana, Windows Hello beta for Lumia, and Continuum for phones, a statement from the company said. With Windows Continuum, you can connect these devices to a Microsoft Display Dock and use it with an external monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse, and you can start using Lumia 950 or 950XL as a PC. Till date we have over-heating issues with ever Snapdragon 810 powered device and with the liquid cooling technology on Lumia 950XL, the company assured the users will not face any heating issues on this device. Aside from a slight bump in processing power and a larger 5.7-inch display on the XL (versus the 5.2-inch on the Lumia 950), both handsets are virtually identical. These two smartphones come as dual SIM variants and they will be available from December 11th in India through Amazon and other offline stores as well.
Here are the specifications of Microsoft Lumia 950: the device is equipped with a 5.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1440 x 2560 pixels (564-ppi pixel density). Both the 950 and 950 XL share almost the same innards except for the SoC – the 20-Megapixel primary sensor comes with Optical Image Stabalization, triple LED flash and it supports native 4K video recording. It is smooth, interactive, and brings an array of new features and updates, which do look appealing to be used.
