Outlook was launched for iOS and Android devices back in January, and judging by what we have seen so far, Microsoft is making good on its promise of keeping the app well supplied with fresh updates.
Microsoft Outlook is designed for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch, and is available for free on the App Store. As you might have guessed, this handy app lets you just speak out your phrase and it will automatically translate it to your language of choice. You could see your emails, but you couldn’t do anything with them. A new feature called Quick Add on Wunderlist for Apple Watch lets you easily create to-do items and automatically add a Due Date and Reminder.
Yammer, a tool for internal work communication, is coming soon to the Apple Watch, where you’ll be able to “like” messages and check on notifications with a Glance.
The release of watchOS 2, however, does give developers some hope by offering a chance to access more than just full-screen notifications and animations. If you want to respond to a message, you can access prewritten responses or voice dictation to write a message of your own.
From football apps and password managers to conversations with astronauts, we’ve scoured the App Store to find the 14 must-have apps for the wearable.
The company has also updated its OneDrive and OneNote apps for new functionality on Android Wear devices. And this week it announced the following new and updated apps.
According to a previous report, a survey conducted by Wristly and Ben Bajarin of Techpinions reveals 97 percent of the 1000 early adopters of the watch say they are satisfied with the Apple watch. The improved OneNote app includes the ability to look at old notes, and you can still dictate a new one by simply saying “Ok Google, take a note”.
