Microsoft Releases Plans For 4K, Virtual Reality Gaming Console
The platform has a strong launch game catalog that includes exciting top tier titles such as Resident Evil 7, Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR Mission, Batman: Arkham VR, and a new space adventure called Farpoint. Sony shares, which had declined earlier, were up 0.6 per cent in Tokyo.

By contrast, owners of Oculus Rift must have a high-end graphics PC to play games and videos on the $599 VR headset. The big test of PSVR will be in the games it makes available to its users.
“You’ll have the same experience, but one will be delivered at a higher resolution, with an enhanced graphical experience, but everything else is going to be exactly as you’d expect”.
“What we can say is that we have a fertile ground of 40m PS4s, all of which will run PlayStation VR”. Preorders have already sold out in some markets, according to President Andrew House. “This E3 marks one of the strongest lineups in PlayStation history”. This PlayStation exclusive looks incredible, and if it’s anything like Xbox’s exclusive from a year ago, Sunset Overdrive (both done by developer Insomniac Games), it will be a fun game to play. Sony also said it is working on an exclusive title with Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and announced development of a new instalment in the God of War series. The reason behind fans thinking that Sony might do otherwise was due to Microsoft’s aggressive promotion of its upcoming Xbox One S and Project Scorpio during the E3 event.
However it is the PlayStation system many believe will be the most popular with consumers because of its ease to integrate into current households by plugging into a PS4. The company is also developing HoloLens augmented-reality goggles.

If purchased separately, the whole set can cost players nearly $550, and this does not include the games yet. Today, during its keynote presentation at E3, Sony shared that October 23rd is the launch date for the virtual reality headset in the United States.
