Microsoft’s delectable Xbox One deals for Black Friday, starting today

The Black Friday 2015 deals on video game consoles will be among those most sought after this shopping week and season, ranking them right up there with HDTVs or 4K TV sets. Not that it matters too much, because if for some fool reason you’re not already subscribed to Xbox Live Gold, Microsoft is offering a one-month Gold membership for $1 from today up until November 30th, long as you sign up through your console of choice. For now, let’s look at what we know about Microsoft’s Black Friday 2015 deals, in the first of a two-part series.

Polygon reported this exclusive Amazon deal costs just $325 – only slightly more expensive than the in-store purchases available at Target, Best Buy and others, but the device comes with several more video game options, which each typically cost somewhere around $50.

The latest deals for Black Friday are underway at the software giant.

Microsoft has offered an update on the topic, straight from the mouth of Microsoft’s Director of Program Management for Xbox, Mike Ybarra. This date also coincides with the second year anniversary of the company’s newest gaming console, the Xbox One. Outside of the visual and navigational improvements the New Xbox One Experience offers other new features like the ability to remap your buttons on the Standard Xbox One wireless controller.

Forbes reported that Microsoft has promised more weekend deals on November 27, Black Friday itself.

Some of the bundles include Halo 5: Guardians with an Xbox One Limited Edition console, an Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle and an Xbox One with Kinect Bundle.

Every month, Subscribers of Xbox Games with Gold eagerly await what free games will be available for the month.

Xbox Gold members will also be able to pick up games for discounted rates. And the company’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb teased even more in the Xbox category on a recent blog post. The Mortal Kombat X title is also discounted at $29.99 instead of the regular $34.99. There’s sure to be plenty of gamers out there that still own a vast library of 360 games, but the original Xbox is a distant memory to some. What type of reward do you want to see for current Gold members? Do check that out!
