Microsoft’s next phone could be the ‘ultimate mobile device,’ says CEO Nadella
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Phone may be announced as early as February next year, as per The Bitbag. Microsoft sold off its feature phone business acquired from Nokia under the regime of Steve Balmer in 2014.

Now, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and the Microsoft Surface Phone 2016, both from Microsoft, happen to be two of the most anticipated tech devices this year.
Current users, especially those with flagships, can still expect support for some time and won’t just be abandoned.
When talking about smartphones, Microsoft isn’t the very first name that comes to mind. Not only that, but the new Surface Studio was released to quite a bit of fanfare, and it’s likely we’ll see more successful hardware products in the computer world from Microsoft, too. The design and built were a collaboration of the Eve community that will also run with Windows 10 operating system. As far as I can determine, the future Microsoft Surface Phone is supposed to use x86 CPUs, meaning laptop grade stuff, more powerful than the likes of a Snapdragon 835. There is a huge $400 discount on the Surface Pro 4, meaning you only need $599.99 to grab yourself this wonderful device.
The latest reports from Microsoft’s CEO says its development team is now carrying out a research on innovative technology, so that the company could ensure that its next entry into the smartphone market would be felt by its competitors and the consumers in general. The Core i7 version of Eve V is priced at $1,399 only below the sales price of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and ASUS Transformer 3 Pro.
“The key in any momentum we have is that you have to have some amount of boldness in taking risk, and knowing that you are not always going to get it right”, Nadella said, according to AFR Weekend. So this gives an opportunity to Microsoft to have a go with this processor before incorporating it with the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5. The platform also features rich management capabilities that have made it popular with some large organisations.
