In an email sent to some Windows Insider testers, shared by The Verge, Microsoft said it is hunting for iPhone 5s (or later) users to test the Word Flow keyboard app on iOS.

Microsoft has started emailing some people and offering to let them test out a beta version of their popular keyboard on iOS or Android devices.
The keyboard is found on Windows Phones and got praises for its accuracy and features not found on default keyboards on both Android and iOS. Skype, now owned by Microsoft, has already been available on Android and iOS ever since the emergence of the two platforms, when the VoIP app was still an independent company. Another lesser app launched on the iOS platform is the Microsof Selfie.
The keyboard, which is called Word Flow, won a Guinness World Record in 2014 for being the fastest software keyboard to type on in the world, breaking the record for writing a text message by half a second, with a time of 18.43 seconds. No matter what aspect you hate about the Windows operating system, there is one factor that you can not ignore, and that is the keyboard.
Similar to that of gesture-based keyboards like Swype, the Word Flow keyboard works by tracing fingers across letters, which will then automatically suggest words. However, Word Flow is a smart keyboard that does more than other stock keyboards. However, it’s not clear yet if this version of the keyboard will come with major changes in features. Moreover, the sluggish integration of iOS with third-party keyboards is a menace.

“We are now working on extending this keyboard to other platforms, starting with iOS”. Mind you, there are a number of nice Android keyboard apps around, but we assure you that the Microsoft keyboard will be worth the wait, if it’s close to what they have on the Windows Phone.
