Microsoft Surface Pro 5 rumors: Follow-up’s release delayed until 2017?
Apparently, Microsoft wants to use a Kaby Lake type of chip on their Pro 5.

If true, a feasible chance of seeing the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could be by early 2017, though some are still leaving the door open for a 2016 last quarter release despite these latest claims. As stated by Microsoft themselves, “We’re going to do some cool things with phones, but this year phones are an important part of our family but not the tip of the spear”, Windows chief Terry Myerson told popular website, The Verge. A surface pen is expected to be available for Surface Pro 5 to enrich user’s experience.
Is Microsoft Surface Book 2 plan an attempt to impede the new iPad Pro? In such a situation, waiting for the Kaby Lake to be rolled out means that the Surface Pro will only arrive sometime next year.
With more than three decades in the business, Al Falak has built a network of strategic business partnerships with leading vendor companies around the world, and has received due recognition for its efforts such as receiving the “FY15 EMEA Best Distributor Award of the Year for Office Online” from Microsoft.
“A stylus may provide active functionality that is powered by a rechargeable battery”. The device is expected to come out with a starting price of $899, with an Intel Core i7 model to cost $999, and an i7 Extreme version to cost $1,599, according to CNET.
Other rumored features include a USB type-C port and an On-Board Fingerprint Scanner.

Of course it should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully Microsoft will be able to confirm its launch in the coming weeks. Accompanying the Surface Pro 4, which incidentally spawned several wannabes, is the Surface Book that is positioned as a rival to both the iPad Pro and MacBook series. Apple pips Microsoft by one point in terms of customer satisfaction, but what is also interesting is that hybrids such as the Surface Pro range and the iPad Pro are the devices customers are most happy with. The Surface Book had a strong start, and preorders sold out in no time, with all models and configurations out of stock on the Microsoft Store by mid-October 2015. Let us know in comments below.
