If Microsoft felt that this was a solid hardware introduction to the mobile possibilities of Windows 10, would the company limit its availability like this?
It’s unclear what led to Microsoft’s sudden change of heart and even stranger why they opted to disrupt the current release instead of simply making subsequent releases available exclusively via Windows Update.
The $99 Microsoft Display Dock HD-500 is a better option. You can make Continuum happen completely wirelessly, with a Bluetooth keyboard, a Bluetooth mouse, and a Miracast wireless display dongle.

According to the official Microsoft Lumia page on Facebook, the Windows 10 Mobile is scheduled to come out next month for other Lumia series phones from the company. By far, Windows 10 Mobile’s top feature is Continuum, the function that allows people link their phones to an exterior display, which works like a desktop. Users can connect their Lumia 950 or the Lumia 950 XL to the dock and then connect the dock to a monitor.
