Unlike its forebear, the Xbox One S can also be positioned vertically, and a vertical stand will be sold separately for $19.99.

Details are incredibly thin at present. Existing Xbox One games and accessories will work on the new console, as well.
The new Xbox One S will come in 500GB, 1TB and limited edition 2TB versions in selected markets, including Australia.
The Xbox One S isn’t just a slimmer console, it’s also packing some pretty impressive new features. That new console has 8 cores, 6 teraflops of GPU power, and is capable of rendering at 60hz.
Microsoft confirmed it will launch an Xbox console this year and in 2017 during its Monday press conference ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the Xbox One, has a white outer shell, supports 4K video and comes with a newly designed controller. HDR capabilities are also on board, for both video and select games (Microsoft has yet to confirm which games can take advantage of HDR TVs).
“We’re moving “Fallout 4” to VR, and to have a console that can support that at the resolution and speed that we want is magical”, creative director Todd Howard said of the new console.
Let’s look at the two new consoles first.
However, given it’s compact design, the Xbox One S had to sacrifice some features including the existence of non-existence of a Kinect Port.
Xbox is on the cusp of another gaming revolution.
Previous console generations have lasted 7 years, but that is an idea that is getting antiquated, as is the idea of a stand-alone box to play games. If that’s the case, Microsoft still has you covered, as it’s now dedicated to bringing many of its biggest games, like Gears Of War 4 and Scalebound, to Windows 10 in addition to Xbox One. It has an early 2017 release window scheduled.
Some gamers have expressed concern for the accelerated release cycle.

We don’t know anything else about Scorpio: no price, no visual design, controls, etc. Just that it’s supposedly powerful and coming next year.
