Microsoft unveils new Xbox One consoles
One other huge reason for the lower price tag is that Microsoft has officially announced the launch of not one, but two new consoles the Xbox One S and Xbox Project Scorpio, so Sony has its market share to protect. We experienced this ourselves, when, in 2013, very much in line with our previous strategies, we announced a concept and a name for PlayStation 4, and everyone said ‘where’s the box? Unfortunately, the price has not been announced yet for either the PlayStation 4 Neo or Project Scorpio, but in both cases, the games that have been released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will also be supported by the new consoles.

The PlayStation Neo is a unusual, risky, yet also welcome move from Sony.
Microsoft has unveiled its latest console, the highly-anticipated Xbox One S. Here are three things you must know about this slimmer, somewhat more powerful Xbox device.
Scheduled for launch in 2017, the Xbox Scorpio is powered by an 8 core processor, has 320 GB of bandwidth capacity and six teraflops performance.
Congratulations! You chose the best-selling console of the current generation and our favourite of the bunch too, not to mention the one that has arguably the best exclusives right now.
The flipside is that while the entertainment focus of the Xbox One may have put off some at first, it does things that the PS4 can not. However, it does seem that we may see the NEO release sooner than later. Now the Neo sits in a room while Sony tries to decide to go with the current specs of the machine or go back to the drawing board and work for equal or more powerful specs than Project Scorpio. One such developer, who sounded off on what Microsoft are calling the ‘most powerful console ever made, ‘ is Hajime Tabata, director of the eagerly anticipated Final Fantasy 15.
That said, Layden did confirm that Neo will offer games at a “higher resolution” and “with an enhanced graphical experience” when compared to the original PS4.

Additionally, the Xbox One S has a redesigned controller with better grip and handle, as well as a better range for Bluetooth gaming. “We want developers to start thinking about what they want to do with that power”. It’s the Xbox One Scorpio that is considered a total game changer in console gaming, but it’s speculated to cost a lot more.
