Microsoft wants you using Windows 10, like it or not

Windows 10, the new operating software for PCs, has been out since July but not everybody is happy with the upgrade. Microsoft seems to have just let it all slide with Windows 10 for phones, but if it has any plans of reviving the platform, it should resolve those issues ASAP. That said, Windows 8.x still accounts for the majority of Windows Store downloads, though that will soon shift as Windows 10 users are the fastest growing download segment (both in volume and total percentage of downloads). For instance, the data will get “stored in an Azure region based on the country associated with the Azure AD directory”, Microsoft explained. That’s according to plan.

Medium and large businesses were the most likely to have at least one Windows 10 machine Spiceworks found – with 31 percent of firms with more than 500 people trialling the OS, compared to 10 percent of companies with 50 employees or fewer. By then, it might be time for a new computer anyway. Once you click on that, go to Change Settings. Upgrading is a hassle and you shouldn’t rush in, but there comes a time when you have to bite the bullet if you want to keep your business safe online.

The device will apparently retail for €220 Euros in Europe, Microsoft will unveil the handset at Mobile World Congress later this month. The monkey is in honor of Chinese New Year, which arrives on February 8… unless you’re trapped in a Guangzhou train station with 100,000 other revelers. Your files should be OK, but you’ll lose any apps installed after upgrading to Windows 10.
