Microsoft will let business users opt out of Windows 10 tracking

Microsoft has scaled back its ambitions for the Lumia range and will produce only two or three models – a flagship phone included. Microsoft has merged its Lumia and Surface blogs into the new “Windows Devices Blog” which will be used to share news and other announcements about the company’s hardware.

The Lumia 950 XL is a phablet device that will arrive preinstalled with Windows 10 Mobile OS.

Apple iPhone 6S Plus features a 5.5-inch display with 67.91% Screen-to-body ratio and has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 at 401 PPI, it’s nearly the same as iPhone 6S on a very big screen. As well as this the links for the images that were shown confirmed the Lumia Talkman codename for the Lumia 950 and the Lumia Cityman codename for the Lumia 950 XL. This indicates that Microsoft could also announce mid-range and budget Lumia devices alongside the premium Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

Microsoft states in its official privacy policy: “We do not use what you say in email, chat, video calls or voice mail, or your documents, photos or other personal files to target ads to you”. Both the device will come with 20-megapixel camera with Zeiss optics and 32GB storage further expandable up to 2TB.

We caught up with Rob Enderle, principal analyst at the Enderle Group, to get his thoughts on Microsoft’s Windows 10 privacy push.

The NDTV Gadgets cited a few of the possible features that Lumia 950 and 950 XL might sport.

It has been a while since we heard a great deal about the flagship Lumia devices from the software giant. Rumours claim that the handset will be featuring a PureView technology powered 20 MP camera.

What this means is that Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 will also be present, assuming a compatible charger is bundled with the retail packaging.

In addition to the forthcoming setting, Microsoft also released guides for IT professionals and end users to help them better understand how to control the different privacy settings that are available in the operating system, whether on an organizational or individual level. “An iris scanner is on board, along with a USB Type-C port, and a native pen”, concludes the news site.

Over time, brands build trust around themselves, and Microsoft has been a company which has managed to do that quite well.
