Microsoft’s Surface Book is an unbelievable new laptop that was revealed just yesterday.
Prices start at $1,499, roughly comparable to the MacBook.
After the demonstration of the Surface Book has been presented, many audience members gave it a standing ovation.
The Surface Pro 4 has been given a makeover, inside and out. It’s been around a year and a half since the last flagship Windows phone was announced, so this has been a long-time coming and Microsoft is pulling out all of the stops. There’s even an eraser that feels lifelike. Microsoft also unveiled a virtual reality head set titled the HoloLens, a tablet titled the Surface Pro 4, a laptop titled the Surface Book and a biometrics wristband titled the Band 2.
By far, the HP Spectre x2 resembles the Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 as Spectre x2 also runs on Windows 10. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 comes with a 12.3-inch display 0.4mm Gorilla Glass, projecting a 267ppi crisp.
Not only that, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4’s Type Cover is lighter, finer, and is integrated with a backlit keyboard. The Lumia 950 XL has a 5.7-inch display and a Snapdragon 810 processor with octa-core CPUs.
The Surface Book and the other devices rolled out today are all meant to showcase Windows 10, said to be running on 110 million devices, making it the fastest Windows roll-out in history.
Microsoft (and Nokia before it) has gone the exclusive carrier deal route before, but none of its competitors are still doing this for their top of the line devices.
