Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka says Premier League survival is his main focus

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has admitted there is a dearth of Premier League experience in his new-look squad and picked out Alvaro Negredo as a key player to help address the problem.

“On Saturday we play a team who finished in the top half last season, but we want to be here”.

“It’s a good way to chat with them”. “Firstly, I was unsure as to how is best to man-manage people and players”, he added.

The deal with Premier League outfit Boro will involve its brand appearing on pitch-side LED advertising, the official club website and social media channels. Last season TLCBET partnered with West Bromwich Albion where it had the shirt sponsorship position, but that deal ended when West Brom signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Chinese online casino operator the K8 Group which will see the UK-K8.com brand name on the club’s new shirt from 2016/17.

He warned his players of the step up in class and the need to minimise the kind of mistakes they might have got away with last season.

TLCBET marketing confirmed its “Boro” betting partnership ahead of this weekend’s start of the English Premier League, as newly promoted Middlesbrough take on Stoke City.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka is grateful to Jose Mourinho for his career mentoring.

“When he came here he knew it was a big challenge for him and he’s accepted it”.

“We are friends and that is the most important thing”, Karanka said.

“His team-mates can feel his presence as he doesn’t like to lose one game in the training session”.
