Lenovo has developed a new 12-inch tablet, ideapad Miix 700, which is clearly inspired from Microsoft’s Surface tablet in terms of design.

Lenovo calls its new Ideapad Miix 700″recognizably different’ with a “progressive design, ‘ but it’s hard to see it as anything but a Microsoft Surface clone”, The Verge observed”. A touchscreen is optional, as is the Intel RealSense 3D camera.

As far as the availability and pricing is concerned, the MIIX 700 will be available in November starting at $699, but this version will be without the RealSense camera.

The new ideapad Y700 combines the mobility of a laptop with the power of the latest Intel or AMD processors and discrete graphics to stay immersed in the game.

There’s also a removable slip-off back panel providing flexibility for those wanting to upgrade or maintain the system. These super compact, easily deployable desktops will arrive in the fourth quarter of 2015 at starting prices of $749, $499, and $399, respectively.

Lenovo also refreshed its Ideapad laptop range, which range from the budget 100S and 300S to its multimedia-focussed 300 and 500 models. They come with up to NVIDIA GeForce 920 graphics, 1 TB of storage and all feature Dolby Advanced Audio.

Moving on, the ideapad 500 can handle Intel’s hulking sixth generation Core i7 processor or up to an AMD FX-8800P APU paired with up to 16GB of DDR3L memory. The IdeaPad also has a 17.3-inch variant with screen resolution of 1600 x 900 screen resolution. Speaking of the sort, Lenovo will also sell a Chrome OS version of the 100S, priced at $179.

Lenovo will also offer an optional “active pen” stylus with the laptop when it becomes available. Yet the new ideapad™ 100S and 300S laptops are surprisingly affordable, making them the flawless travel companion for those who value portability.

The Yoga 260 will be available in November for $949, while the Yoga 460 will launch this October in select countries and in January in North America for $1,049. On-shelf dates may vary by geography and products may only be available in selected markets. Key compression was a little shallow, but all three devices offered consistent feedback, making it easy to adjust and get into a comfortable typing grove. Lenovo reserves the right to alter product offerings, features and specifications at any time without notice.

Their counterparts are the ThinkPad E465 and E565, which are based on the latest Carrizo generation of AMD’s processors up to the FX-8800P. But soon, there may be an alternative pick: the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S. Intel, RealSense, Core are trademarks of Intel. This was the same message a couple of months ago when the company decided to complete re-work their entire phone/mobile division – Microsoft would build first party phones to show the capabilities of Windows 10. JBL is a trademark of Harman worldwide.
