Mike Francesa makes sensitive Mets fan’s day
No use crying over spilt shortstops? Tejada is gone, and now the fate of the Mets, the fate of Queens and the fate, perhaps, of Will, are in the hands of Matt Harvey. The two have been talking concerning the ramifications of a controversial play that befell within the L.A. Dodgers 5 to 2 win over the New York Mets on Saturday night time.

On Monday, Will phoned Francesa and got a surprise invitation to sit with the talk show host at NLDS Game 3.
A day after Will from Queens, a longtime Mets fan, cried on the air while discussing his beloved team, Francesa invited him to sit with him at Monday night’s Mets-Dodgers playoff game.
“Will, come on. Come back to us, please” – just another great moment in New York sports radio.

“This is his one chance”, Will had said Sunday of Harvey before breaking down. There are undoubtedly plenty of Mets fans who’d like to make that guy shed a few tears.
