Mike Huckabee was not present during the first Democratic presidential face-oof, yet he found a way to offend people with his bad tweets.
Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee visited the US border with Mexico last weekend and he’s touting his approach to border security this week during campaign stops in Iowa. Many called the remarks offensive, and an allusion to a common and often racist racial stereotype about Asians.
Does he seriously think it’s OK to be racist if you mention a country with whom we’re not on good terms??
Many also found irony in the “joke”, pointing out that Huckabee’s son, David Huckabee, allegedly tortured and killed a dog while at Boy Scout camp in 1998, when he was nearly 18.
