Mike Pence Criticizes Democrats for Not Naming ISIS at DNC
Following the close of the first day of the Democratic National Convention on Monday, the GOP blasted the Democrats for failing to mention the “global terrorist threat posed by ISIS” even once.

As Tuesday began, the liberal-media site PolitiFact confirmed for their media pals that the Republican National Committee was correct in asserting that not one of the 61 Democratic convention speakers on Monday had breathed the word “ISIS”. “You didn’t hear it”.
Worse, Biden said, Trump has proposed breaking up worldwide alliances, such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which he said can help address the problem.
Trump attributed it to Democrats shying away from their “weakness”, which he blamed for the establishment of ISIS.
“As I travel today, I am reminded how important it is that the person who represents our nation is trusted by our allies - who knows how to work with them, not alienate them, to defeat ISIS - and who listens more than she talks”, she said.
The DNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump has previously accused both President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee and former secretary of state, as being behind the rise of ISIS.
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Mike Pence this morning at the VFW: “It is extraordinary to think that yesterday in Philadelphia, 61 speakers came to the podium and not one of them named ISIS by name”.
On July 16, during an interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes”, Trump accused Clinton of being directly responsible for the creation of ISIS, an assertion that the Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-checker Politifact found to be false. Trump has offered little to back up that claim other than blaming Clinton’s “stupid policies”.

Biden then explained to ABC News why feels Trump and his running mate, Indiana Gov. “This man”, Pence said, motioning toward Trump, “will name our enemies without apology and he will defeat them”.
