Mike Pence denies he is Donald Trump’s clean-up man

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine on Saturday compared Trump to Nixon-a president “not known for the most elevated ethical standards”-who eventually released his returns, because “he said.the American public have a right to see my tax returns. They should see who I have connections with, they should see if I am paying the taxes that support our veterans, that support our military, that support our social services”.

Petillo said that Trump coming to the Fairfield campus is “by no means a political endorsement or effort to boost his campaign; nor is it a University-sponsored event”.

“The new e-mails made public just in the last week seem to make a direct connection between favors done by State Department officials and major foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation, “the in governor told “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace”.

In an interview on Fox News, Pence said there is “no question that the failed policies of President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the wider Middle East created a vacuum within Iraq in which ISIS was able to arise”.

Trump on Monday is also expected to outline a new immigration policy proposal under which the US would stop issuing visas in any case where it can not perform adequate screenings.

Gov. Mike Pence of IN, the Republican vice-presidential nominee, suggested Saturday that he might release his tax returns before Election Day, even as his running mate has shown no inclination of doing the same.

Trump doubled down on his comments earlier this week that Obama was the “founder” of ISIS, and that he and Clinton were both “MVPs”, saying the terrorist organization “has developed like wildfire under our incompetent president”.

He also accused reporters of downplaying his impact on the campaign trail, saying, “My rallies are not properly covered by the media”. Democrats have suggested he does not want to show them because they might reveal that he is not as wealthy as he claims to be or perhaps that he pays little because of tax breaks for real estate developers.

Clinton has strong leads in hotly contested states such as Pennsylvania and New Hampshire and some polls show her within a few percentage points of Trump in some states such as Georgia that normally lean strongly Republican.

That set off Trump on a Twitter rant Sunday morning. “I am who I am”, he tweeted.

Yet, Pence and Trump have not given any indication that they plan to release their tax returns before the November election.

Given that, Trump’s allies set out Sunday to bat down bad publicity and warn people not to write Trump off.

“You’ve had this whole morning talking about nothing but negative on the Trump campaign, so this is the kind of thing that does build on itself, and has I think made mountains out of molehills”, Mr. Sessions said on “This Week”.

Trump took repeated swipes at Malloy, using GE’s decision to leave to attack Clinton and Malloy on the economy, saying the governor has “done a very poor job in CT”, particularly when it comes to growing manufacturing jobs.

Huey called Trump a “demagogue” and said journalists are his new scapegoat: “First it was the Mexicans, then it was the Muslims, now it’s you”.

Karen Pence, like her husband, was eager to make the case that Trump would be a great president, calling him “caring” and “kind” as she shook hands. Any country that wants to work with the U.S.to defeat “radical Islamic terrorism” will be a US ally, he is expected to say.
