Tim Kaine (D-Va.), released several years of tax forms last month.
“It is a tough charge”, Pence conceded when pressed, “But, come on”. The assumption from this is that there will be no path to legalization and that people will be deported before they can register for legal citizenship.
Immigration, though considered Trump’s hallmark issue after he rose to fame proclaiming that he would build a wall on the border with Mexico, is one of the issues on which Trump perhaps has fluctuated the most.
He said, “Donald Trump will be releasing his tax returns at the completion of an audit.” is under audit. NBC’s Chuck Todd repeatedly tried to get Pence to go into specifics about the candidate’s immigration plans, particulary what would happen to undocumented immigrants in a Trump presidency.
“Pence is a great candidate to draw from the third party as well as conservatives that might be a little concerned about Trumps beliefs and where he stands on things”, said Trump supporter Will Shafer.
Hundreds packed Springfield’s Expo Center to hear what Donald Trump’s running mate had to say.
“Any time we’re presented classified information you have to like sign a document that makes it clear that you know it’s classified information and you’re going to handle it sensitively”.
Stephen Bannon’s denial of the allegations isn’t enough to let him off the hook.
While Clinton battles accusations of secrecy and wrongdoing, the Trump campaign also has questions to answer on the issue of transparency. “When I’m out campaigning, it’s just not where the American people are focused”. I mean where in Hillary Clinton, there’s a thousand employees and experts and pollsters.
But when Pence assured Todd that Trump was “completely consistent” on immigration, Todd interjected, saying that Trump’s position on the issue has not been consistent.
