The Republican nominee used a televised forum to argue he was best equipped to reassert the US’s global leadership.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton lashed out at Donald Trump while at the Westchester County Airport Thursday.
“I think it’s probably unlikely”, he said.
Because of that, Clinton said, his presidency would be “a gift to ISIS”. “I’m proud to support Secretary Clinton”.
FBI Director James Comey had declared her “extremely careless” in her handling of sensitive material but did not recommend charges against her.
Clinton hit Trump on Thursday as “someone who has insulted Muslims, insulted a gold star family … someone who has said he doesn’t want to let Muslims from around the world come to our country”. All through his primary campaign, Mr. Trump has sidestepped questions regarding his ideas and has contradicted himself on multiple occasions.
Clinton’s campaign has seized on criticism of Trump for lauding Putin, frequently pointing to the Republican’s praise of the Russian president as disqualifying for the White House.
“Here is what is important, I now have more endorsements from retired flag officers than any Democrat other than an incumbent president has ever had”, Clinton said.
Republican candidate Donald Trump received kid gloves treatment and got away unchallenged with at least one falsehood when he declared: “I was totally against the war in Iraq”. We saw more evidence that he is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified to be commander in chief.
But, if Lauer wasn’t good with the Clinton interview, he was really terrible when handling Trump, letting him get away with “blatant lies”.
“There was one thing that shocked me”, Mr Trump said.
Earlier, Mr Trump pledged to launch a new USA military buildup, saying the United States was under threat like never before from Islamist extremists, North Korea and China.
The whole thing was supposed to be about foreign policy, veterans affairs, war, things of that nature, something that Hillary Clinton knows a lot about, not saying good or bad, but she knows a lot about it, and something that Donald Trump is a complete idiot about.
When King asked him about reports that Russian Federation is trying to disrupt the USA election, Mr Trump was sceptical. That’s what Lauer could’ve asked her, but he didn’t.
The presidential candidate raised political eyebrows when it announced a fundraising total of just $3.1 million back in May.

“We’re living in challenging times and that certainly was reinforced by the excellent discussion we had today“, she said after meeting with a bipartisan group of national security experts.
