Mike Vick Feels Confident As Starting Quarterback

The animosity is still there bubbling just underneath the surface.

The Baltimore Ravens are 6-3 straight up in their last nine games against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tim Benz with ESPN Radio Pittsburgh called in to the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to help preview this Thursday’s showdown between the Ravens and Steelers. They’ll be scrapping for relevance.

The Ravens are hurting from an 0-3 start, it’s really going to get worse around the Ravens when they fall to 0-4.

Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger in 2012 with the Big 33 trophy. Against the Steelers, they’ll catch a bit of a break, as Ben Roethlisberger will be out of the line up due to a knee injury and will be replaced by Michael Vick.

Previous year with the New York Jets, Vick went 1-2 in three starts with three touchdowns and an interception, and his lone victory came against the Steelers when he went 10-for-18 for 132 yards and two scores with another 39 yards rushing.

“We’ve kept things pretty streamlined”, Haley said. Us coaches love security blankets – more is better.

“It’s always disheartening when your leader takes a fall and goes down”, said Brown, the NFL’s leading receiver who added another 108 yards on 11 receptions. He sprained his MCL and bruised a bone in the Steelers’ Week 3 win over the St. Louis Rams and is expected to miss four to six weeks.

The Steelers need the Michael Vick Experience to make the playoffs, but that player isn’t walking through the door.

Tomlin also said he does not have any more details regarding Roethlisberger’s condition and would be unable to give more information at least until Friday. The arm is still there, I don’t know if the legs are there like they used to be. They have been in a few tough football games.

This game marks the first time since November 2012 and only the third time in the last 10 years that the home team is the underdog in this rivalry.

The key to containing a player like Vick, who is known for his rare speed as a quarterback, is having a spy on him at all times who can track and chase him down. Just as Roethlisberger was happy to see Tom Brady’s suspension overturned before their Week 1 matchup with the Patriots, Flacco would rather have a chance to beat Big Ben.

“It’s already frustrating. I want to be out there with my guys”. The game plan will be ground heavy, hoping they can take advantage of the soft run defense that the Ravens have displayed so far this season. This Thursday night, October 1st, we are stoked to see the Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

I couldn’t agree more with Dilfer when it comes to Vick getting the football out of his hands quickly.
