Overnight lows will fall back into the lower to middle 30s with light winds.

Clouds replacing sunshine today come complete with a narrow band of rain showers that only last about three hours in any given spot, starting mid-morning to mid-afternoon, west to east respectively.

Stay with Storm Track 8 as they track the weather changes through the day. A potent cold front is set to move in, bringing widespread showers and possibly storms. Rain will taper off by mid-morning and clouds will clear by midday. We are looking at mainly rain in Indiana, but if you are headed north, there is a weather advisory for snow along the Indiana Toll Road and around Chicago. Clouds thicken Thursday as yet another system approaches.

Tonight: Partly cloudy and chilly.

The Canadian model even shows 2 to 5 inches of snow accumulation for New Jersey on Friday.

Thursday: Sunshine with temps in the mid to upper 30s. Cooler air dominates for the second half of the week with highs in the 50s and 40s from Thursday through the weekend. Wednesday periodic rain will be accompanied by mild air, a gusty wind and perhaps some thunderstorms before ending as mountain snow showers late.

Still mild but with clouds and showers in spots
