“Singing with me. Miley Cyrus! Let’s hear it!” – Billy announced to the crowd as he brought out Miley for their duet.
While the iHeartRadio Music Festival made a special tribute to Grimmie, the singer was not included in the In Memoriam segment that aired at the Emmys.
The singer emerged onstage towards the tail end of Billly’s mini-set – which kicked off with back-to-back mega-hits “Dancing With Myself” and “White Wedding”.
The first night of the iHeartRadio fest also featured Drake, Sia, One Republic, Twenty One Pilots and U2, who staged their first concert of 2016 in what also marked the 40th anniversary of the Irish group; U2 formed in September 1976. Night two is set to feature Britney Spears, Sting, and Ariana Grande.
