Miley Cyrus to Star in New Woody Allen Project
Well, according to Deadline, it’s time to move on, because Miley Cyrus is set to star in a new TV series from the mind of Woody Allen.

Little else is known about the series, other than that it takes place in the 1960s and Allen is writing and directing all six episodes.
Production is slated to begin in March.
This will be Cyrus’ first major acting gig since “Hannah Montana” ended in 2011.

Elaine May, a veteran of film and comedy, worked with Allen on the 2000 film Small Time Crooks. I had the cocky confidence, well, I’ll do it like I do a movie… it’ll be a movie in six parts. “To this day, I find it hard to look at toy trains”. “My guess is that [VP of Amazon Studios] Roy Price will regret this”, Allen said in a press release when news of the series was first announced. “And when we talk about what would be a great inspiration for a show, a lot of Woody Allen films kept coming up…so then we just thought, what if we asked Woody Allen himself to do a show?” You’ll probably have to wait until 2017 to see the results, but as per usual, Allen already has his next movie in the can, the untitled movie starring Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell, Blake Lively, and Parker Posey.
