Millennium Park ice rink opens Friday
The new rink, http://innerharboricerink.org, is 6,000 square feet, or 20 percent larger than the previous skating park at McKeldin Square, and will have stunning views of the Inner Harbor.

While it doesn’t snow that often on the Las Vegas Strip, there are a few fun ways to get into the holiday spirit without having to endure the freezing cold temperatures of NY City.
Now in its fifth year at the gardens, the Devon Ice Rink will be open through January 31 and promises big fun for the whole family.
Wembley Park Ice Skating has it all; skating, shopping, entertainment and pretty much every type of food you can think of.
The rink is expected to remain open through February.
In addition, the Partnership was looking for a new location for the rink that was more closely connected to the water and that was large enough to accommodate the visitors who thronged to the popular attraction. Skaters can canoodle on the open ice as classic holiday movies like Home Alone, A Christmas Story and It’s a Wonderful Life are screened each week on The Cosmopolitan’s massive digital marquee.
The Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park reopens for a second season at noon Friday.
Sundays (Jan. 9 to March 5): 10 a.m.to 9 p.m. Public skating will begin around 11:35 a.m. Skating is free.
Christmas Eve: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Officials with the Myriad Botanical Gardens say the rink will be closed to the public on Monday, November 16 and 23 from 7 to 8 p.m. and Monday, December 7 and 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. for the Gardens Learn to Skate program.
