Miller’s sack-strip leads Broncos past Colts
The team ruled him out for the rest of the game.

Siemian, a seventh-round draft pick in 2015, outplayed Andrew Luck, the first pick of the 2012 draft. Brandon McManus came on to attempt his first field goal of the year, but pulled the 54-yard try left.
Siemian was anything but ideal in his starting debut for the Broncos. He also added 19 yards on three receptions. Thomas turned nothing into something gaining 44 yards and putting Denver in the red zone. Another questionable PI on Winston Guy contributed to another field goal drive in the fourth quarter.
The Colts had their opportunities to escape with another victory on Sunday, but the Broncos simply took them all away in the end.
That way the Colts could still help Reitz out on Miller, while not necessarily losing another receiver for Luck to throw to-facing an already stingy Broncos secondary. But once again, the offense had an underwhelming drive and was forced to punt. We don’t have any further details on the severity of that injury, however.
Broncos running back C.J.
For three quarters, Andrew Luck was the quarterback the Indianapolis Colts needed him to be – not flashy, sometimes downright boring, but most importantly, a quarterback who valued patience and didn’t make mistakes. That certainly showed in Week 1 against Carolina, and it showed again against the Colts. After gaining a couple of 1st downs, Darius Butler picked off Siemian and had a wide open field in front of him.
Sunday saw the injury theme of 2016 continue for the Colts. Perhaps going for it was the right call, but handing it off to undrafted rookie Jalen Richard, not lead back Latavius Murray, who was curiously underused despite picking up 7.1 yards per carry and a touchdown on just eight totes, was uninspiring.
The Broncos are obviously elated that Talib was able to return as quickly as he did, and he reminded them why on Sunday. An offensively challenged barn burner still, in Denver. Luck did throw for a touchdown, but not until late in the game.
He was only assisted by 59 yards on the ground from Frank Gore, and was sacked twice for a loss of 17 yards.
They held Luck to 197 yards passing and came up with the game-changer when Talib stepped in front of Luck’s pass early in the fourth quarter and returned it 46 yards for a score. “We can go back and look at the tape”. An in-sync, confident Colts team could reel off three wins and sit 3-2 heading into a road game at Houston. Unfortunately, his initial return didn’t last long. If not for Luck’s 21-yard scamper on third-and-20 in the third quarter, the Colts would’ve ended up with a mere 62 yards rushing for the day. The Colts had the ball at their own 25-yard line, 1:51 left to play, down 26-20. And score 20 they did, the Broncos defense then put up two more touchdowns of their own to officially announce to the National Football League that they are still the same defense from 2015.
Fantasy Impact Run the football, play good defense.
While Luck missed the final two months of the season, the Broncos recovered and went on to win Super Bowl 50 thanks to Miller’s two sack-strips of Cam Newton that led to 15 points in Denver’s 24-10 win. Here comes the Colts offense back onto the field.
Von Miller failed to sack Luck in his career. 34-20 Denver, this time it was over. People I see comment, they all support me. The fact that their defense can keep them in games is going to be huge for the team going forward.

Another lasting impact is the Broncos 2-0 record while also pushing an AFC playoff contender in Indy to 0-and-2. You’ve gotta give a lot of credit to them.
