Milton Community Egg Hunt Set For Saturday

When the Easter Bunny is back on the ground, the Easter egg hunt will begin. Events are on Easter if not otherwise noted.

Children ages 1-12 are invited to an egg hunt at 1:30 p.m.at Fremont Izaak Walton Park, 2560 W. Military Ave.

Easter worship service is set for Sunday, March 27, 11 a.m., with special music by the church choir.

The Floresville United Methodist Church, 830-393-2425, will offer an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m.

The egg hunt is free, but participants need to bring their own Easter baskets, Hanlon said. 97 West in Floresville. The Easter Bunny is often credited with hiding the eggs.

Grace Fellowship Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Fellowship Foursquare Church, 3658 Rhonda Road, Cottonwood. Children ages 1 to 3 starts at 10 a.m., ages 4 to 6 at 10:15 a.m., and kids ages 7 to 11 begin at 10:30 a.m. Special needs children starts at 10:45 a.m. A bounce house will be available and prizes awarded, and the Easter Bunny will visit.

Spirit Church of Bartlesville will host its Easter Egg Drop on Saturday at Sooner Park in Bartlesville. This year there are 5,000 eggs prepared with half containing candy or toys and the other half holding 500 prizes with tickets in them that can be redeemed for a bigger prize, according to Director Tracy Knight. Egg hunt is for children ages 12 and younger.

Ages 9 and 10: 3 p.m. If you’re late, you may be out of luck; it doesn’t take long for kids racing around to scoop up all the candy-filled eggs.

Instructions will be given at 1:15 p.m. and children will be going out for the egg hunts at 1:30 p.m.

There will be separate egg hunts for three age groups: preschool, kindergarten through second grades, and third and fourth grades. There will also be inflatables, face painting, a magic show and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
