The developer also featured a long list of bugs that have been fixed in the new snapshot, as well as the older snapshot. But among these exciting things is the forthcoming arrival of Oculus Rift support to the title.

Minecraft for Gear VR sells for $6.99, and unless Microsoft decides to charge a premium for the version with Rift support, we should be seeing it launch next week for the current $9.99 price. It will reportedly arrive with a couple of in-game improvements as well as a number of bug fixes. But what can be seen in the new snapshot may not be all that the developer is planning. Moreover, fans can expect smaller changes to be brought into the snapshot in the coming weeks or so. During the stream it was confirmed that Minecraft would support Oculus Touch later this year, reports Reddit user Heaney555.

So, to any and all Oculus owners- Minecraft might literally be the most ideal game for VR.

We know that Mojang plans to release its widely popular game next week but the date is yet to be announced.

Back in March, Microsoft announced that the company will be bringing support for Oculus Rift to Minecraft on Windows 10. You’ll need the Windows 10 version of the game to do this, though. No worries. Mojang is allowing those who have bought other versions of Minecraft to download the one exclusive to Windows 10 for free by logging into the Mojang website and then downloading their copy from the Windows Store.
