Mojang’s sandbox masterpiece “Minecraft” is still getting regular updates and support from the developer.

Once you do, you can equip it (like you would an ordinary cape) and take to the skies.
Minecraft will soon feature a flying cape that will let players get a bird’s eye view of the world.
Interestingly, Minecraft developer Jens Bergensten says that this new cape can only be found, not crafted. Two animated GIFs showcase the new mechanic and item in action, while a few technical details confirm certain aspects of the whole thing. If a player lands, it will fold automatically.
While players can already fly in “Creative” mode, the power of flight will soon be possible in other modes when the cape hits the PC as part of the next update. Also, they’ll replace your current cape: PC and Mac owners of Minecraft can try out flying capes by downloading snapshot 15w41b for the game. As of now, even the regular capes found within the PC version are not available in the console version.
