Who will monitor Mr President as Petroleum Minister?
Buhari never lied to anybody and will not tell lies under any pressure or circumstance and whoever lies for whatever reasons will not be entertained by him.
The president, however, added that his confidence in Saraki “will depend on the outcome of the court’s decision”.
He said, “I heard a few of the comments of those he met, the comments that probably not come back to him”. These were never part of his life since childhood to exposure, opportunities and exalted positions he held while serving the nation.
President Muhammadu Buhari has said his administration would enact new policies to diversify Nigeria’s economy from oil to other sectors such as agriculture, mining and manufacturing.
Based on the foregoing, it is indisputable that Mr. Buhari is in ongoing violation of Section 138 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999. President Buhari has a record of success; Mamman Daura has not distinguished himself along that line.
The global financial community, especially, has been impatient to know the composition of President Buhari’s economic team.
Saraki has not been to the Presidential Villa until last Thursday during Nigeria’s 55th independence anniversary celebration, except if he had visited under the cover of darkness in the last three months.
On oil – the main revenue generator for the government – Buhari confirmed steps had been taken to “sanitise” the state-run oil firm to cut inefficiency and graft as well as re-start domestic refining of crude.
The President in his statement said Nigeria has the marks in making the potentialities of a great nation is just question of actualizing our potentialities and that will require all hands on deck; men, women, muslims, christians, young and old, irrespective of our location, our tribe, our social standing, Nigeria needs all hands on deck.
