I know there’s a lot of speculation as to who these people were. They were asked to leave. When they reached a corner, the three people pulled out weapons and gunshots rang out, Omeoga said. “Stand with us tomorrow”.

Police have arrested two suspects: a 23-year-old man in Bloomington, Minn., and a 32-year-old man in south Minneapolis.
Police tweeted early Tuesday that officers are searching for three white male suspects in the shooting that occurred shortly before 11 p.m. about a block from the 4th Precinct.
Police brutality in the United States has raised nationwide debates amid a string of police killings of unarmed black men that led to the creation of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Police have two men they believe are responsible for shooting protesters in custody.
A spokesman said the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office was waiting for a case to be presented for consideration. Protesters have complained that grand juries are unlikely to indict police officers.
An estimated 2,000 protesters marched from north Minneapolis to City Hall in downtown Tuesday afternoon in support of Jamar Clark. We can’t back down.
Nekima Levy-Pounds, president of the Minneapolis chapter of the NAACP echoed Ms. Noor’s categorization. One man with a bullhorn led protesters in chants of “Jamar Clark!”. One video showed a white man brandishing a gun while claiming to be on his way to the protests. A clothing and food drive is planned for protesters Wednesday.
Shots were fired early Tuesday morning near the scene of a Minneapolis protest for the second night in a row, but there were no reports of injuries, police said. “[I came out] because of the overwhelming feeling of injustice, sadness and my responsibility to take part and say ‘that’s not OK, ‘” she said.
People appear to help a victim of the shooting on Monday night.
“We made sure that all the pies were thrown out, and actually other food was thrown out for fear of contamination”, she said.
Some protesters say they don’t intend to stop their demonstrations despite the request.
Miski Noor, representing Black Lives Matter Minneapolis, said that four men wearing masks approached the site where demonstrators have been encamped protesting Mr Clark’s killing. Wesley Martin was among those who escorted them away.
Clark was shot on November 15 during what police said was a struggle. Eventually, the three people left the crowd and began walking down the street, and a few protesters followed.
“They running down the block and we turn around”, he added.
“It was so busy and chaotic”, Wronski-Riley said. No one was fatally injured, and the wounded are now being treated. Some activists expressed dismay on social media at the police department’s slow response time.
“It just went through muscle…I don’t care if I be in a wheelchair”, he said. We appreciate Black Lives Matter for holding it down and keeping the protests peaceful.
Authorities have said there was no video of the shooting from police dashboard or body cameras, but investigators are reviewing video from business and security cameras in the area, as well as witnesses’ cellphones.
Wesley Martin was among those shot.
