Minnesota Orchestra will entertain at Vikings halftime
On the left is a giant television that will be part of a ship replica. But the Packers offense is certainly head and shoulders above the Titans, and with more experience against Minny, Rodgers will find his spots. No such gimmicks are needed this time.

MINNESOTA: The Vikings beat the Titans 25-16 as a 2.5-point road favorite last Sunday in Nashville.
Its music director, Osmo Vanska, will lead the orchestra in an eight-minute performance at the 50-yard line Sunday night during the first regular season football game at the new U.S. Bank Stadium.
“He’s doing good”, Zimmer said. “It’s going to be fun”.
In perhaps the game of the week in the National Football League (certainly in the game of the night on Sunday), the Vikings open U.S. Bank Stadium and host their arch-rival Green Bay Packers.
That didn’t turn out too well.
No such shirts were printed for the 2015 regular-season finale at Green Bay, which the Vikings won 20-13 to clinch the NFC North. He has at least two TD passes in 11 of the past 13 games vs. the Vikings and is looking for his 14th straight game with a TD pass vs. Minnesota. Aaron Rodgers is still a huge difference maker. That’s why he’s glad Green Bay doesn’t have to contend with the transparent roof at U.S. Bank Stadium, and instead will take the field at night in a game nationally televised by NBC. The Vikings defense will have an incredible advantage on Sunday night if they are able to cause Rodgers to order a hearing aid at the conclusion of the game.
“I think it’s a no-go, from what I understand”.
Who knows whether Rodgers was playing off McCarthy’s comment this week when he was asked about playing the first game at the Vikings’ new stadium.
The Vikings were tinkering with their touchdown celebration special effects during the preseason, and the one used Sunday won’t necessarily be the same as what was seen against the Rams.
“It kind of felt like a nightclub in there and everybody kind of cheering, ” linebacker Anthony Barr said of the lights dimming against the Rams. On the flip side of that, the Packers offense still seems to have issues moving the ball consistently, and I don’t see them being able to move the length of the field at will.
“He’s got to catch the ball”, Zimmer added.
With Hill at quarterback last Sunday, the Titans often crowded the line of scrimmage to stop running back Adrian Peterson, daring Hill to beat them with his arm.
“I haven’t really thought that much about it”, Zimmer said. The Metrodome was known as one of the NFL’s loudest venues, and U.S. Bank Stadium, with a listed of capacity of 66,200, seats about 2,000 more fans.
“It could take one quarter”, Zimmer said.
Rodgers has had success against this unit before, but the Vikings defense showed its merit in the win over Tennessee.
The Minnesota Vikings have ruled two starters out against Green Bay due to knee injuries, defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd and cornerback Xavier Rhodes. T Matt Kalil practiced on Friday after being listed on this week’s injury report. Trae Waynes replaced him in the starting lineup.
Head Coach Mike McCarthy and the squad want to re-establish themselves as the dominant team in the Black and Blue and will have an opportunity against a team still reeling from the loss of starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater only days away from the start of the season. “He’s done a good job”.
Zimmer said Bridgewater was in the training room chatting with players, his first visit to Winter Park since September 8 surgery to fix a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He did, though, express frustration in Floyd, who has battled injuries since becoming a starter in his second season of 2014, being hurt again.
“He gave me a chance, and I made the most of it”, Lacy said. I don’t know. (Reporter: “Win, lose or draw?) Win, lose or draw”.
