Through two games, Peterson has had difficulty finding running room behind the Vikings offensive line. McKinnon finished that season with a career-high 538 rushing yards. A trio of Jerick McKinnon, Matt Asiata and Ronnie Hillman obviously can’t replace Peterson’s production, but they offer a variety of skill sets versus Peterson’s two-down limitations. “We pride ourselves on being able to pound the rock and we have to get that rolling.
