Minnesota Vikings Still Behind on Everything Compared to the
He is determined not to let a dismal 30-13 loss to Green Bay at TCF Bank Stadium carry over to Sunday’s game at Atlanta. The biggest mistake that we could make is if we let that loss become more than one. “We just need to fight through that and get on the right page, the right track”. “But two of them and then it’s shame on me”. Dom Capers got to live that experience for real Sunday. Peterson fumbled inside the Packers’ 20-yard line and the Vikings turned the ball over on downs twice.

“What we’ve done previously was to put us in the position where we could control our own destiny, ” said cornerback Terence Newman.
“To be honest, we definitely have the guys to get this thing done”, Bulaga said. It’s important that we move on and not let this linger. I bought into the hype, or as Mike Zimmer would say, I “took the cheese” like a mouse caught in a trap. “I still believe in this football team and I believe in everything about us”. We stayed the course. “And just go ahead and play”. Green Bay covered the spread in double-digit wins over San Francisco and St. Louis, but didn’t cover as 10.5-point favorites over San Diego and Detroit. “That’s how you beat a team”.
“Well, if you could bottle it up I would not be here talking to you”, he said. “Their mood was down, as probably it should be”.
The latter win came with Matt Hasselbeck, probably the NFL’s best backup quarterback, moving to 3-0 this season when standing in for an injured Andrew Luck. “But when they come in…”
In coverage, the team fared well too.
Jones was certainly not effected(at least not negatively) by the long sleeved hooded sweatshirt catching six passes for 109 yards and a touchdown but I can’t remember anyone ever playing in a hoodie. The Vikings answered back, as quarterback Teddy Bridgewater connected on a 47-yard catch-and-run score to tight end Kyle Rudolph.
He finished with just 45 yards on 13 carries and was mostly quiet in the second half. Rodgers has faced Minnesota a total of 15 times dating back to 2008, including that aforementioned postseason encounter three years ago, and the prolific passes has thrown for 34 scores and been picked off only four times in those clashes.
Minnesota had four more possessions in the fourth quarter but couldn’t get any closer.
While the loss doesn’t sink the Vikings, it does shift the perception of the team. In Week 13, Rodgers and company will be on playing on a Thursday evening for the second straight week as they head to Ford Field to face the Lions.
Green Bay drove 80 yards in seven plays, as Rodgers connected with James Jones on a 27-yard strike along the right sideline. But other plays were the product of Vikings’ sloppiness. We can’t have pass interferences. One was illegal contact on Anthony Barr in the red zone.
The Packers were a wounded team that was ripe for the picking. But those issues, from a leaky offensive line to an inability to play from behind, continue to haunt the Vikings.
Had Crosby missed any of those field-goal attempts, it would’ve drastically changed field positioning. However, the Packers avoided the third-down struggles that contributed to their three-game slide while producing 30 points for the first time since September, a promising sign for a team still clinging to Super Bowl aspirations. Many were picking the Vikings to win and extend a lead in the division.
Offensively, coordinator Norv Turner was fighting unfavorable downs and distances because of all the penalties. Russell Wilson comes off his best passing game of the season and is using all of his targets.

In terms of running the ball, the Vikings were supposed to have a decided advantage.
