Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons
The Vikings (7-3) suffered a 30-13 loss to Green Bay last Sunday but will be in sole possession of the NFC North lead with a win after the Packers’ loss to Chicago on Thanksgiving. Falcons to win and cover the 2-point spread. The game time is set for 1:00 ET and will be broadcast on FOX.

Against the Falcons, who came in with the league’s top-ranked defense against the run, Peterson ripped off his sixth 100-yard game of the season.
Thanks to those gifts from the reeling Falcons, the Vikings were able to hold one of the NFL’s most productive offenses to a season-low 10 points and just 329 yards of offense.
After jumping out to a surprising 5-0 start, the wheels are coming off for first-year Atlanta coach Dan Quinn and the Falcons (6-5), who have dropped four straight. But they head into their game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday with a 6-4 record and on a three-game losing streak.
Adrian Peterson leads the National Football League in rushing yards.
KANSAS CITY, Mo – In a battle of AFC teams trying to keep alive hopes of a postseason berth, Kansas City beat Buffalo as the Chiefs came back from a 10-0 early deficit to win their fifth consecutive game.
The player of the game for me was Teddy Bridgewater. All of those things make the Vikings far more than just a one trick pony, however, they are still at their best when Adrian Peterson is getting the ball. Each team then had a turnover, after Anthony Barr popped the ball away from Falcons’ running back Tevin Coleman for a fumble that was recovered by Antone Exum Jr. “This was a big game for us, because we basically have a six-game season going”.
After the Vikings’ final walk-through Saturday, however, they downgraded Smith, who will not travel with the team to Atlanta. Rookie receiver Stefon Diggs has given Minnesota a big-play threat with 12 receptions of 20 yards or more since making his debut in Week 4. Three plays later, Ryan threw a bad interception in the end zone, with cornerback Terence Newman jumping in front of tight end Jacob Tamme for the pick. He followed that up Sunday with an interception in the Vikings’ end zone. By no means were the Vikings playing their best football, though, and nearly all of their mistakes can be fixed.
As Ryan unbuckled his helmet and trotted off the field, he heard some of the loudest boos of his career from the home crowd. Bridgewater is known to do damage with his legs and will hurt you, extending plays outside of the pocket finding his receivers down the field.
The Jets (6-5) won for just the second time in six games to ensure they would at least remain in a tie for the second AFC wild-card spot.

The Minnesota offense has simple goals: ride Peterson, avoid 3rd-and-long situations and allow Bridgewater to throw quick and on time.
