Mino Raiola launches another attack on Jurgen Klopp after Mario Balotelli departure

“I’d spoke with the coach and because we have new players, he wanted to try (them) and change me, so the substitution was not due to injury. That’s more power and we should use this wonderful opportunity”.

Claudio Ranieri’s men have collected four points from their opening three games to sit ninth in the table in their Premier League defence.

“I know it’s hard but we played a really good game against a team like Burnley, but I would say 15 times we missed the last pass”.

“In an open transfer window, you have to prepare decisions and for the situation after the window closes”, said Klopp.

Vardy continued to threaten for Leicester, but a late Liverpool break resulted in Mane beating the onrushing Schmeichel to the ball 40 yards from his goal before squaring for Firmino to side-foot into the unguarded goal. He could not play for a long time.

Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho is seen during the Premier League game against Watford in Vicarage Road, Watford December 20, 2015.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s not a big issue, but it’s hard to comprehend how a Liverpool player can go nearly five months without having any desire to visit his home stadium. This is a good place and a good opponent with the champions coming.

“We could have won or lost at Tottenham”.

Klopp will want his strongest line-up available, although he will have to wait until Thursday for the return of Philippe Coutinho, who has a long trip back from Manaus in the Amazon rainforest after Brazil duty.

“Leicester are still good, still lively, still aggressive”, Klopp added. “The new stand will propel Liverpool into the next century and show the club again as one of the biggest in Europe”, he says.

Balotelli made a deadline day move to Ligue 1 Nice and the Italian’s agent Mino Raiola has since been particularly vocal in his criticism of Klopp for his treatment of the player.

Ragnar Klavan has been ruled out after aggravating a knee injury while away on global duty while Mamadou Sakho is still unavailable as he continues to try and work his way back in to Klopp’s plans.

“I’m not too interested in atmosphere before the game”.
