Minor Protest Erupts During Hillary Clinton’s Speech
Citing recent terror attacks around the world, Clinton said, “We’re dealing with determined enemies that must be defeated” and that beating such enemies will require the “steady leadership” she has shown during her service as secretary of state and a senator on the Armed Services Committee. “Your cause is our cause”.

On Thursday, Clinton’s goal was to paint a more hopeful, optimistic vision of a nation that comes together and is, as her campaign slogan puts it, “stronger together”. She painted America as being “in a moment of reckoning”. “Millions of Democrats will join our movement, because we are going to fix the system so it works fairly, and justly, for each and every American”.
Turning to Republican nominee Donald Trump, Clinton invoked President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s famous quote: “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”. She also addressed how supportive her parents have been through the years.
“It’s not just a detail if it’s your kid, if it’s your family”, she said. She then officially accepted the nomination for president of the United States.
Clinton closed her speech with mentions of the Founding Fathers and their “selfless passion to build something better for all who follow. Let me ask you – have you even read the United States Constitution?” “And it should be a big deal to your president”, Clinton said in an effort to tell Americans more about herself. Reporter: But inside that convention hall, she had another fight on her hands. That is the only way we cans turn our progressive platform into real change for America.
“I will carry all of your voices and stories with me to the White House”, she said.
If you’re with her, Thursday is the night to tune in. Clinton had supported the TPP under President Barack Obama, but on the campaign trail, she has argued that the deal – which is largely expected to benefit the footwear industry – doesn’t reach the “gold standard” she expected. “Wall Street should never be allowed to wreck Main Street again”. There is no other Donald Trump.
In addition to the statement, Trump tweeted several additional criticisms of Clinton.
I wasn’t too thrilled with this bit of Obama’s speech.

Manafort says Trump thinks America is great “but the American people don’t feel that the future is what they want it to be”.
