On the movie front so-called “DVD screeners” appear in waves each year after leaking from the Oscar nomination process but TV show leaks are much less regular.

The pilots of several highly anticipated shows, including Minority Report, Lucifer, Blindspot, and The Carmichael Show (which, what the hell is that?) have leaked online for your lawbreaking pleasure.
The first (and thus far the most popular with downloaders) is upcoming sci-fi crime drama Minority Report.
Blindspot, starring Marvel actress Jaimie Alexander (Thor), and Minority Report, which is based on the Steven Spielberg 2002 film, will both make their official debuts on September 21.
“Lucifer” is loosely based mostly on the character Lucifer Morningstar, who first appeared in “The Sandman“, which is revealed by DC Comics, earlier than getting his personal “Lucifer” collection.
Lucifer, a crime-horror adaptation of the Vertigo comic, stars a wonderful Tom Ellis (Robin Hood from Once Upon a Time) as the Devil himself, who has gotten bored with lording over Hell and decides to abdicate to Los Angeles, where he begins consulting with the L.A.P.D. after forging a connection to a detective, played by Lauren German. Such was the case for CBS’s Supergirl series, the pilot for which made its way online back in May. As can be seen from the screenshots from the leak itself, the quality is very high indeed with no visible watermarks.
Despite the brewing controversy, Lucifer character co-creator Neil Gaiman is unlikely to shout too loudly about the leak.
“I started to realize, that actually, you’re not losing sales by having stuff out there”, he said.
Along with the above two, the third one to join the torrent party is upcoming U.S. drama Blindspot. Judging by Deadline’s report and in particular its contextual choices, the pre-release buzz surrounding pilots is little to do with specific reviews, but more to gauge what type of viewership (downloads) a new show is likely to have. Television, while Minority Report and The Carmichael Show are from 20th Century Fox.
