If you’re thinking that Miranda Lambert’s latest hit “Vice” may be some sort of commentary about her divorce a year ago from Blake Shelton, her new music video will only feed that fire.

The video was directed by Trey Fanjoy and filmed in the small town of Smithville in Miranda’s home state of Texas.

As for her first single off the album, Miranda said it was written “at the exact time of the s-t hitting the fan”, meaning her divorce from Blake Shelton.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg as the country hottie sheds an old jacket, walks past graves, and literally stands at crossroads – Oh yeah, and Lambert gets into a newer, faster, sleeker looking vehicle at the end of the video too! It perfectly captures the sentiment and emotion of the song, and is one of Lambert’s finest music videos to date.

“And I know I’ll be back tomorrow night, oh”. In November, 2015, Shelton went public with his romance with Gwen Stefani, whom he was starring alongside on The Voice, and in January of this year, Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, confirmed their relationship with a photo post on Instagram. Of learning to be honest…. Facing fears and feelings… That paper gets it. Because music is medicine. “If you need me I’ll be where my reputation don’t proceed me / Maybe I’m addicted to goodbyes”.
