After days of assimilating everything, Ariadna is ready to speak out and broke her silence on social media addressing the issue everyone is talking about.

After the storm comes the calm.
“Every one of you has become an incredible human being in my book and I am the most fortunate and thankful for having the support not only from one country but from the whole entire world”, Gutierrez – Miss Colombia – wrote in a message posted Tuesday to her Instagram account.
Comedian Steve Harvey has been given a much-needed boost of confidence following his embarrassing Miss Universe flub after the pageant boss invited him back to host next year’s competition.
“And while she didn’t seem to want to give up the crown when Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo, was announced as the actual victor (can you blame her?), Ariadna was still graceful when she was interviewed after the pageant”.
“She was giving the most terrible side-eye, throwing major shade because Miss Colombia was not happy with the pace or the way that the translator was translating”, he added.
“Life continues and in the future we will find out why things happen the way they happen”, she mused.
The 21-year-old thanked and sent love to her fellow Colombians and went on to say that she thinks “everything happens for a reason”.
Ms Wurtzbach appeared stunned as she walked to the front of the stage alongside the crown-wearing Ms Arevalo before last year’s Miss Universe, also from Colombia, stepped in to remove the crown and place it on Ms Wurtzbach’s head instead.
The Latina beauty also acknowledged the Miss Universe debacle, saying that “your destiny is written for you”. And my destiny was this. After Ariadna Gutierrez had already begun to celebrate, Harvey came back out and admitted the mistake.
“I’d like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake”.

“Secondly, I’d like to apologise to the viewers at that I disappointed as well”. He was so well intended, and he’s such a good guy, and it was really such a mistake that I hope people don’t hold this over him other than for just a good laugh and let it pass. “Again it was an honest mistake”.
