Miss Philippines Sends Message to Miss Colombia: ‘We Are Now Bonded’
After Miss Colombia had already received the crown and the Miss Universe sash, Steve slowly walked back out onto the stage and revealed he read the wrong name on the card he had in his hand.

One of the clues that the Miss Universe 2015 blunder is a publicity stunt is the claims of some contestants that the teleprompter showed Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as Miss Universe 2015.
The responses from those involved have been full of class, with Miss Colombia giving her congratulations to eventual victor, Miss Philippines, after momentarily donning the Miss Universe crown for herself. Harvey described his devastation in a series of tweets and Instagram posts apologising profusely for making the error. I was happy because I really wanted to win but felt sad for Miss Colombia… “And no evidence she was being tailed by Miss Columbia, or her posse”, it added. Harvey referenced his recent Miss Universe mistake, naming the wrong woman as the victor, when he wished everyone a “Merry…Easter”, instead of a “Merry Christmas”.
She wrote, “Now, I finally got the best Christmas gift ever – and not just for me, for my country”. And to all the fans who are still fighting about this. Meanwhile, Steve Harvey is off celebrating Valentine’s Day.
“Arguing and sending hateful messages to each other defeats the whole goal”, she said.
The Miss Universe fiasco is still fresh in our minds.
“I felt calm when I was called first runner-up because I felt it was fate”, she said.
“Steve Harvey’s mistake was all a conspiracy created for two purposes: Make Miss Universe relevant again”.
