Misshapen Reese’s Christmas trees trashed on social media
Maybe time will show it to be a shrewd marketing move; in the meantime, the confectioner’s alleged Peanut Butter Trees are drawing comparisons to “turds”, turning them into a subject of social media ridicule. People are now seriously pissed off that Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Christmas-Tree shaped sweets look more like poop than a holiday tree.

But instead of tree limbs and a trunk, the candy’s shape looks more fecal than festive.
Another happy customer glowed: “What peanut butter cup lover wouldn’t want to find Reese’s trees in their stockings this Christmas?”
This year, fans who have had enough are taking to social media in full force to express disappointment in the misshapen candy.
“People complaining about Reese’s tree, send them to me”.
“You call it a tree”. For the truly unhappy, the company has linked to its customer feedback form and written, “We’re sorry to hear your Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin is less than flawless”.
“It’s important to remember that these products are not solid chocolate made in molds, which would have a more distinct shape”.
