“We are desperately anxious, all previous backpacker sightings have reported that she is disorientated and not in a good mental state”.

“Please can I reach out to the backpacker community once again to look out for her and get her safe”.

Grace Taylor, 21, was located at Krabi airport, where she was due to fly home to England on Monday.

She was looked after by staff from the Krabi Tourist Rescue Centre while awaiting the arrival of a family member from Bangkok. Dorset Police say an investigation is under way and they are liaising with Interpol.

Dorset Police launched an investigation and are liaising with authorities in Thailand to trace the stricken girl.

She had earlier called her mother, saying she was frightened and that “people were trying to hurt her”.

Her parents officially reported her as a missing person to Dorset Police at 3.37am on Sunday morning after they had not heard from her since Tuesday.

Dorest Police, who were informed Grace had gone missing, confirmed this morning that the backpacker had been found.

“Grace contacted us at 11am today from Ao Nang”, a Facebook post written by Grace’s mum, Sam Taylor, read.

A British backpacker missing in Thailand has been found, according to police.

Krabi, on southern Thailand’s west coast, is a province characterized by craggy, sheer limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests and more than a hundred offshore islands.

Ms Taylor first raised the alarm after Grace had failed to make contact with the family since February 16 while she was backpacking in Pattaya.

She has since gone missing again after failing to arrive at Krabi airport and board a flight booked by her family following the phone call, her mother said. “She is feeling sick but we do not believe there was any crime involved.”.
