Police said they received a report at 3 p.m. Monday from Natalie Cote’s mother that her daughter was picked up by her step-father Christopher Julian from school.

Old Town police said in a Facebook post Tuesday evening that Natalee was waiting for her mother to pick her up.

Cote left willingly with her stepfather at the time, but investigators determined Tuesday morning, after receiving additional information, that the girl “could possibly be endangered”, Miller said in a news release.

Police issued an arrest warrant for 43-year-old Christopher Julian on a criminal restraint charge.

Hampton police say Julian is now being held on a misdemeanor charge and is yet to be processed.
