Mission: Impossible 6 is already in the works
The “Mission Impossible” franchise has earned a total of $739 million in the U.S. alone, and over $2 billion from the worldwide box office.

“If all goes reported by plan, this will be the fastest turnaround between the Mission Impossible films as each of the past five instalments have had lengthy separations of at least four years”, states ComicBookMovie.
Turns out that may be the case, too.
“We’re starting to work on it now,” Cruise told Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.
“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” opens this week, but with positive reviews being raked in, Tom Cruise and the rest of the team have pushed on to getting started on ‘Mission: Impossible 6.’. And be our Facebook chum here.
“Rogue Nation” was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who keeps things going at a breakbrain pace.
But top agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his boss, William Brandt (Jeremy Renner), have no intention of knuckling under as they think they are close to cracking the ruthless Syndicate, a global terrorist organization bent on chaos and catastrophe. The most hyped scene, which has Tom Cruise hanging off the side of an Airbus A400, was extremely risky – Cruise was strapped on only via a thin wire rig – but Cruise says it was worth it. The wait for the third film was the longest as it took six years before “Mission Impossible III” hit theaters.
Over the course of almost 20 years, the Mission: Impossible series has remained one of the most remarkably consistent franchises in Hollywood, and the new fifth installment, subtitled Rogue Nation, continues that tradition of quality, even if it reuses a lot of the ideas of preceding episodes. “I’m pretty sure it’s not like Death to Smoochy where they’re like, ‘One and done!’ You can get in there and knock around a few more“.
Access recently spoke with Tom about working on “Rogue Nation“, which our Scott “Movie” Mantz calls “the best “Mission” yet”.
“No matter what, I didn’t want (McQuarrie) to cut because I knew this was our chance to get it”, he said. That would give us an early indication of where “Rogue Nation” is heading.

Yet I quickly stopped waiting for her to have a few romantic attachment to Hunt, because he’s not capable of one.
