Missouri pays millions to block Planned Parenthood federal funds

That is a pointed rebuke to the efforts undertaken by 10 states to deny state funding to the nation’s leading abortion provider in the wake of undercover video footage showing high-ranking officials in Planned Parenthood discussing the harvesting, procurement, and remuneration they expected to receive for aborted babies’ organs and tissue.

Pro-life activists attempted to speak to women entering the clinic, who were taken inside by Planned Parenthood volunteers, reports the Boston Herald.

“In general, we believe that life should be protected”, said Hart. She called Daleiden’s indictment a “travesty”.

Life Legal has filed two new motions in the case of Planned Parenthood v. Center for Medical Progress (CMP) and David Daleiden.

“After months of aggressive pro-abort moves against David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress, Life Legal is striking back with motions created to stop Planned Parenthood in its tracks”, officials with the Life Legal Defense Foundation said today.

“Since July, politicians in at least 24 states have been doing everything in their power to end access to care at Planned Parenthood through Medicaid, Title X, and other programs, putting more than half a million people at risk of losing their basic health care”, the abortion business said in a statement.

Democrat Sen. Amanda Ragan said, “Zero state money has gone to pay for abortions in recent years, and that is by working together across the aisle”. Passers-by occasionally yelled at the protesters, with one woman saying: “Tell me what to do with my body one more time”. “A child is a human person at the moment of conception, and we want to protect it and allow it to be brought to life”.

“For the women, men, and young people we serve, the care we provide isn’t about politics – it’s about their well-being”, Frizzell said. Nine states actually did that a year ago. He said he has carried the sign to a number of anti-abortion demonstrations.

The local event organizer, Audrey Ahrendt, 18, a high school student said this is her first outing as an organizer, but she has participated in rallies against Toledo’s only remaining abortion clinic, Capital Care Network, with her church. Protesters are also expected at four other Missouri Planned Parenthood locations.

“My baby was a baby because she was wanted”, Johnson said, adding that the Planned Parenthood mentality is, “If a baby is unwanted, it magically becomes just tissue – easily discarded and easily thrown away”.

“That’s why we’re here in front of Planned Parenthood, because they are killing babies and we don’t agree with it”. For 40 Days of Life, the rally is a way to show support for women who may feel pressured into getting abortions and provide another option.
