They contacted authorities, who ran the plates, which came back a match to the stolen SUV.
The inmates have been identified as Matthew Miller, 22, of Eagle Rock, Missouri and Keith Davis, 24, of Anderson, Missouri.
According to KSLA they stole a maroon Toyota Land Cruiser and two dirt bikes taken from a motor shop in the town of Springdale.
The men are considered risky, the Facebook post states.
Police hunted them down to a wooded area.
Pineville is about a 10 minute drive from Benton County, Arkansas.
Hancock and Casper told McMillen they had seen two white males standing next to a vehicle stuck in the mud along the railroad tracks. This is the second time Miller and Davis have escaped from the McDonald County Jail in the last five months. The inmates escaped the McDonald County jail in Pineville, Mo., sometime after 6 p.m. Sunday.

At that point, the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office helicopter joined the party, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Telford Unit brought the dogs out.
